OUR STORY BEGAN
IN 1960!
the year which signaled the start of our work as health care providers. Since then the well-established “Optikos Shami” grew and became spread over 40 branches inside and outside Jordan.
As for & Shami Eye Center&;, it was established in 2008 under the patronage of her royal highness Princess Sumaya Bint Al-Hassan. Shami Eye Center operates in three locations around the Kingdom and three other locations in the Middle East. Collectively, our clinics are run by 16 ophthalmologists, 17 optometrists and 145 other healthcare professionals, administrative and support staff.
Shami Brand is well reputed for over half a century, for providing premium quality and accuracy in ophthalmic care. Our continued success and achievements are a tribute to our exceptional team who deliver excellent, high quality, personalized and compassionate care for each of our patients. While we are honored to be a prominent health care provider, its really our patients who are our top priority.
WHO WE ARE?
We were established in 2008, and were officially inaugurated in Amman, Jordan under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya Bint El Hassan on the first of June, 2008.
We Are Owned By The Family Of The Well-Established Optikos Shami In The Field Of Optics.
Optikos Shami opened its first branch in 1960, in the city of Irbid in northern Jordan; in 2011, the number of branches reached 38, serving customers all over Amman, Al Zarqa, Irbid and Aqaba.
We Are Committed To Using State-Of-The-Art Technology To Offer Premium, Quality Care To Our Patients.
By combining modern technology with an expert staff, we were able to become one of the largest specialized centers in both the Kingdom and the region.
